Ways To Donate...
Credit Card
** Please see the special note below regarding our new approach to processing donations via credit or debit cards **
The Thunderbolt Council uses a third-party vendor (Stripe) to process credit card donations. Unfortunately, due to intrusion by scammers “testing” stolen credit card info, we’ve been forced to ask potential donors to reach out via e-mail for the specifics on how to donate using a credit or debit card. Please send us an e-mail letting us know that you’d like to donate to the following address:

When we receive your e-mail, we’ll respond promptly with the Stripe payment link. Once your transaction is processed, you’ll receive an e-mail receipt and your credit card statement will reflect a charge to the “Thunderbolt Council”.
Thank you for taking this additional step – it will help us stop these bad actors from determining if the card numbers on the list they purchased on the dark web are valid.
One additional note – Stripe charges us 2.9% + $.30 for each credit card donation they process. If you want to ensure the full amount of your intended donation finds it’s way to support the 104th Fighter Wing, please bump the amount of your gift to cover those fees… thank you!! To help calculate the amount needed to cover processing fees, please use the handy calculator below – simply enter the amount you’d like to contribute in the field on the left and then use the amount shown in the field on the right for the total amount charged to your credit card.

Venmo
We can also accept donations using the mobile payment app Venmo. Payments should be sent to our account: @thunderboltcouncilorg. Look for the Thunderbolt Council logo (as shown at the top of this page) to ensure you’ve reached the right spot. Alternatively, simply scan the QR code to the right to donate using your phone or tablet.
Venmo also wants a piece of the action when helping to make payments, but they charge slightly less than Stripe: 1.9% + $.10 for each payment they help manage.
